It is extremely important that strict laws are in place to underpin the fight against this practice, but, however, that the certainty of applicability and implementation thereof is inexorable.First Suggestion – Stop Trafficking Human Beings though Social Media CampaignsTo repress the development of this, it is important to embrace predisposed actions to prevent and / or limit, both qualitatively and quantitatively the thriving of trafficked victims indexes for these purposes. It should be noted that the largest share are in a vulnerable position, sometimes due to their social status because of the psychological situation. The resumption of valuing human households to public policy packages with the insertion order of the most excluded layers whether via the racial, sexual or social support payments are programs within the operating paradigm, given that these victims do not suffer from physical trauma psychological and exclusively during the period that remain exposed to traffickers, but equally, still scorned by an individualistic society, prejudice that ignores those who failed to conform to established levels. Moreover, the State must bring the basic supply in terms of education, vocational training and, in the case of people who have already become victims, repatriation of these people. Thus, the focus is immediately changed because it is remaining directed solely to the effects and it is still neglecting the causes, becoming unviable any prevention program, depreciation and consequently the punishment of traffickers, which implies greater public insecurity before this aspect.Ultimately, society in general along with the media and the state, binding forces needs to support and encourage measures to promote effective freedom, social justice to break the patterns giving rise to socioeconomic inequalities and primarily to protect the dignity of human person. The practice of international trafficking in women for prostitution is something that has taken place for several decades. However, it is in this age of modernity that this practice is gaining more space. Modernity can be seen as the insertion of the industrialized world, with the labor employment and technology in favor of the production, machines, etc.. And it is a non-completed project, controversial, with multiple faces, appearing in conjunction with the development of societies, which are organized around the capitalists and the state apparatus companies. The new air of modern society also generated exacerbated Individualism within the consumer society and also of personal life projects with a wider range of crimes that arise. From this point of view, analyzing the impact of modernity on the international crime of trafficking in women for prostitution and the use of this crime as a new product to profit from organized crime. Social Media has a strong power to decrease the trafficking of human beings having the power to make the general population pay attention to such a deep social problem. Social Media is a powerful tool nowadays and it has to be used in strong campaigns using UN Ambassadors and also showing traffic people cases. As internet is being expanded advertising showing criminals and also alerting the population would be a more efficient manner to handle campaigns against trafficking women.Second Suggestion – Spread Social EqualityWith the process of globalization and this time of “modernity”, there is a deeper gap between the first world countries and the third world. Despite the breakthrough of international organizations to a global equalization, it is clear that the countries of the Third World still live in situations of hunger and poverty, lack of employment and education. As a result, more and more often it has been the so-called migration. At this point, women now represent more than half the migration population to developed countries. So the “feminization of migration” is one of the strongest social and economic phenomena of the last decade as a result of less opportunities and less access to education. As a policy to detain such migrations, to create more opportunities is a much needed policy to avoid migrations and prostitution contributing to the stabilization of the world. Education is key in this process and so the access to school, internet, communication, globalization, equality of opportunities, freedom… We need to encourage entrepreneurship and build the future not looking back in our mistakes, but making things different from now on.During this transition to “modern” women are acquiring more and more place in the world stage. However, it was not always like that, and in various regions of the world it is still not like that. In relation to this “inferiority”, Marcela Lagarde (1990, p.24) teaches that“All women are stuck to your body-for-others, procreative or erotic, and his being-of-others experienced as vital need to establish relationships of dependence and submission to power and others. All women, good or bad, are defined by the standard and become politically inferior to men and among themselves. By his being in and for-others, they are philosophically defined, in the patriarchal world as incomplete ones, willing territories to be occupied and dominated by others.”This inferiority is influenced and still influences, with regard to the labor market. Because this market is unstable, especially in third world countries, there is a depreciation of the compensation paid by labor, and because of the large number of unemployed people, the need to ensure their survival and their children that causes in many cases women pass into prostitution. In view of these economic horrors, prostitution and trafficking white slavery have become dominant factors. So the above figures not seem exaggerated, and it is good to examine what some experts in prostitution have to say that a fertile cause of female depravity can be found in various tables showing the description of the sought jobs and wages received by women before choosing to be prostitutes, and the politicians and economists should considerate that the employers – for a reduction in their pay rates, and the economy of a small percentage of wages it is not more than an offset by the huge amount of fees charged to the broader public to offset costs incurred due to an addiction system that is, in many cases, the direct result of insufficient compensation for honest work. Of course education has a lot to do with it. With better education we will check that among thousands of cases observed, only a few are originated from the middle class, with stable conditions and pleasant homes. The vast majority are girls and working women, some driven to prostitution by poverty, others because of a cruel and ruined lives at home, and still others more because of a physical nature frustrated and crippled. So this precarious situation makes them look for other ways to survive, finding in prostitution a way that gives them opportunity to make money – contributing to the traffic of women. Just to recover our memory, in the past due to the large number of white women being trafficked, this illegal practice was placed as an object of international law for the first time in 1904, the so-called “Agreement for the Suppression of the White Slave Traffic Women”, in Paris. Subsequently, several agreements and conventions were produced to reach the Palermo Protocol, in 2000, where the UN sought to introduce instruments that are more effective as to combat international human trafficking and prostitution. However, the term international trafficking in women gained new contours and began to be treated as trafficking in persons. This term enters women, children, adolescents, and men who are taken to exercise slave labor abroad.According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), it is believed that trafficked women come from almost all over the world, highlighting the region as source of trafficking, Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Eastern Europe, the Philippines and Thailand. What is happening is still that the flow of sending trafficked women is directed to industrialized countries, involving the vast majority of EU members and nowadays some rich Middle Eastern countries. If we create more jobs and open spaces to these women in these countries to develop their skills, if we value the human being giving better education, equality of opportunities and putting men and women in the same level of information, I am sure we will face less problems and less women submitting themselves to face such situations.Third Suggestion – Applying more sanctions and enforcing the protocol more effectively in the countries As we all know, regarding human trafficking, the “Protocol to the Convention of United Nations against Transnational Organized Crime to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children “ (Palermo Protocol – 2000) provides that:Article 3, “a” -. “The expression” trafficking in persons “shall mean the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, abuse of authority or situation vulnerability, or the giving or acceptance of benefits to obtain the consent of a person having control on the other for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labor or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.”The Palermo Protocol being the most Important instrument to enforce the International Law in the plan of combating human trafficking establishing basic guidelines that guide the creation of laws and the formulation of public policies to prevent and suppress international trafficking in persons, besides contributing to the development of an international approach comprehensive, faces the reality that international human trafficking it is now clearly a product of globalization and constantly mutating. So how to apply the UN convention to that effectively? The globalization phenomenon, great catalyst of Inequality at international level has its peak from the second half of the twentieth century, when states were faced with a new reality, in which the challenges imposed on them fail to find solutions in national law, constraining them to seek cooperation and international regulations for problems that are now global. Among these, it standed the development of transnational crime, such as the various types of international traffic, such as drug trafficking, arms and human trafficking for various purposes.Currently, human trafficking, considered as a modern form of slavery, as we mentioned “white slavery” is one of the most profitable activities of organized crime in the world, second in profitability only to trafficking in drugs and arms. It is estimated that of all the victims, almost half is subdued for sexual exploitation. So by combating human poverty, equality between men and women, equality of opportunities, we are of course starting our policy to reduce traffic of women and prostitution. The approaches and understandings built already show that human trafficking has no single cause, but results from a series of factors related to job opportunities, to migratory flows, the quest for better living conditions, social inequalities and discrimination. For its effective confrontation are necessary national, international, legal and political, articulated and intersectoral actions, structured in three strategic areas, which include prevention, care for victims and repression.Prevention seeks to minimize the fragility of certain social groups, foster public policies to combat and conduct research to collect information. But the axis of attention to victims, domestic or foreign, aims to its proper treatment and social reintegration with adequate consular assistance and access to justice without discrimination. We all still need to improve. It was observed that human trafficking nourishes close relationship with forced labor, because its main purpose is to provide manpower for forced labor, whether for sexual exploitation, economic, or both. Forced labor, the definition of the International Labor Organization, means all work or service exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which it has not offered himself voluntarily. Driven by globalization, poverty and the consequent violation of human rights contribute significantly to vulnerability to any kind of exploitation. In addition to the national preventive mechanisms, assistance to victims and repression, combating trafficking in persons requires a reorientation of international politics for a “bottom up globalization” in order to progress to a better distribution of wealth on a global level and greater protection human rights. Lets rebuild our strategy since the beginning, investing in education, treating everyone as equals, giving opportunity independently of sex or race. Let’s spread opportunities and use globalization to help to spread equality of information, opportunities, understanding, comprehension, admiration, love, success, and please let’s also use globalization to spread the ones who insists to use globalization as a white slavery machine, trafficking people – applying to them the law and publicize around the globe. The International Court of Justice needs to be the organ to promote the Justice also in crimes of traffic of human beings.
